Available in other colors and upholstery. Italian artisanal production by Pescetta Home Decoration. They are walnut wood chairs with deep and large seat and back wraparound feeling backrest. These chairs are made in Italy. They are realized according to the historical model named “Klismos” which is a type of ancient Greek chair, very often depicted on ancient furniture or on painted pottery and in bas-reliefs from the mid-5th century BCE onwards.
The simple and elegant lines of the saber legs have been proposed and reconsidered several times during the history, making it a chair without age and never out of fashion. The long and elegant curve for the backrest is quite difficult to create and it is obtained from a single piece of wood. They are extremely comfortable and wraparound, the seat is large and deep allowing them to be suitable in a meeting room, as well in the dining room or used as desk chairs.
You can complete the seat with a separate pillow (see the pictures as example).

SHIPMENT COST: for each items on the web site Pescetta.it we have provided a general shipment quotation which includes the packaging, the insurance and the delivery according to the front door freight. A skilled driver will unload the item from the delivery truck and bring it to your building’s doorstep. You will be responsible for further transport beyond that point. We recommend asking someone for an extra hand; alternatively you may upgrade to In-Home Delivery. Please note that Custom and duty taxes are not included.
INSURANCE: All the items shipped are covered by insurance.
HOW IT WORKS: once you have confirmed the order we take care directly of the packaging which is fundamental to protect objects while they are moved. Usually we build tailored wood boxes and fill them in with bubbles, paper, foam rubber, polystyrene in variable quantities depending on the kind of object. Then the shipment company comes and pick up the box to deliver to the final address. At this point I will share with you the tracking nr. To follow the shipment. Item will be left in its packaging after delivery. A wooden crate is usually used for international shipments for maximum protection. To open it you might need a simple screwdriver.
TRANSIT TIME: usually shipment takes around 10 working days.
APPOINTMENT: The shipment company will email and/or call you at least one day in advance to arrange a delivery time.
DELIVERY: A signature will be required upon delivery.
IMPORTANT: Please accept the box with reservation ( write it next to the signature on the delivery note - to have time to open the box and check the object) Please examine the box upon delivery. In the event that there are visible signs of damaged packaging or missing or incorrect pieces, please indicate the problem on the Delivery Note, take some pictures ( externally and internally) and contact us as soon as possible within 24 hours. A signed delivery receipt without reservation or notations of missing, damaged represents your acceptance of the complete order in perfect condition and it makes impossible to activate the insurance procedures.
